ZITS HAPPEN™ PATCHES

I spearheaded the design and branding efforts for Proactiv's initial line of patch treatments. The new product design features a single-sided sachet that effectively communicates the product's key ingredients and a carton capable of accommodating two sachets while further reinforcing the ingredient story to optimize its impact. The new and fresh look received approval from both the brand's loyal subscribers, who have been using Proactiv since the days of 2am infomercials, and the ingredient-savvy Gen-Zers who appreciate a fun and informative unboxing experience.

Influencer campaigns were a huge success with the new packaging. Engagement increased 40% when the patches were featured.

THE RESULTS

Zits Happen (30 ct.) launched at retail in July 2023 on Amazon, Ulta.com and Target.com. August Rollout at CVS.  Product Launch Sales Goal: $282K vs. Actual $295K (DTC $58K + Retail $237K) It was a Top 10 SKU at Ulta. The patches continue to be a hit and were featured on the Today show in January 2025.
